Hey there! LONG TIME!
So I am still doing deliveries as a dayjob but I am much closer to getting my online businesses off the ground. In the last year or so I haven't released much music, but I am still releasing songs here and there. Here is the latest one
It's me getting back to my trance roots for the most part. I have also sold 4 pieces of gear in the last year because I don't use them anymore - The Access Virus TI2, The Roland JP8080, The Nord Rack 2X and the Waldorf Blofeld. The main reason I sold them is because all 4 are perfectly emulated as plugins now. They open all of my sounds I have designed and I don't miss the hardware at all actually. Freed up about 14U of rack space! I want to fill that space with new and edgy rack mount synths like the Studio Electronics Code Luxe (it's $7K tho hahah)
Also, I am working on a new game soundtrack, mostly guitars/rock/metal which some of you don't realize that I make a lot of too. The game is called “RAMMBOCK” if you search on youtube you will find the designers Dev Logs about it.
I still haven't launched Braille Audio but I am sorta happy about that because the sample pack and preset scene has changed drastically since 2020 (when I originally made my business plan) Most of the stuff I made would already be obsolete on a sales perspective. I am going to make braille audio focused heavily on melodic house and techno, and possibly tech house to carve a space out in the niche. My wife and I want a baby so I need to 2-3x my income for that and buy my own insurance. Life is hard isn't it? But good things are worth fighting for.
I am currently in the middle of making about 5 album worth of music. Some of it I have mentioned but I will just list it here
- proPELLErhead - a tribute album of dance music made in Reason 13 using only devices made by Peter Pelle Jubel (the founder of propellerhead software, now Reason Studios) He also made the Nord Lead 1 which is the main synth I use on the album
- DashJamz - A 10 track album of Sonic Remixes. 4 of them were previously released. I have 3 new ones done (wanted to be done in December of 2025 but it just wasn't happening) and 2 more to do. Once it's all done I will be sending out physicals to the supporters and releasing it on all platforms.
- Super Terra - A 10 track melodic house album with each track being a phase of earths early beginnings (Pangea for example)
- ghost[]pulse - B402 - This album is called “Before ‘02” From 1996-2002 I found some of the best trance music I ever heard. I was introduced to trance by “trance[]control” which is where the name “ghost[]pulse” comes from. I released “ghostwave” for free on bandcamp recently which is a 5 track free EP of the style. But trance[]controls sound is NOT mainstream, and it’s VERY underground so I try to recreate the sound as best I can because it stands out compared to the homogoneous sound of the genre now.
- Untitled - I have 4 new trance songs as bLiNd out and I am eventually compiling it into my 3rd studio trance album. Haven't named it yet but I can say this will probably be my best one yet.
